ASTER Satellite Imagery: Sample
Images, Key Features, Basic Products and System Information
The ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal
Emission and Reflection Radiometer) system began populating
its archive with imagery early in 2000. We offer fully supported ASTER
archive based imagery solutions to customers
internationally.
Key Features
- Extensive Historical
Archive
- Fourteen (14)
channel multi-spectral recording.
- Near simultaneous
(approximately 60 seconds) along-track stereo
recording.
- Scene size of 60 km x 60
km.

Our Basic Products
- Visible near
infrared (VNIR), shortwave infrared (SWIR), and thermal
infrared (TIR) simultaneously recorded co-registered bands
in GeoTIF format for US$ 150 per scene.
- ASTER
derived Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data, including
hillshade, and elevation contour data in ESRI or GeoTIF
format for US$ 75 per tile (100 km x 100
km).
